Rebuilding Intimacy Intensive in Salt Lake City, UT
One-Day Intensive

5 hours | $1,950 per couple
The closeness you once had feels far away.
Reconnect emotionally. Begin rebuilding closeness.

Intimacy rarely returns on its own once distance has set in. A one-day intensive provides focused time to understand what got in the way and to begin rebuilding emotional and physical connection. Whether you're facing a lack of intimacy in marriage or feel stuck in a sexless marriage, a full day gives you room to go deeper than weekly sessions allow. With guided intimacy counseling, you can talk openly about desire, affection and emotional needs without the conversation turning into blame.
What we'll work on:
- Exploring the history of connection in your relationship.
- Addressing resentments and hurts that block closeness.
- Understanding desire differences without blame or pressure.
- Practicing vulnerable conversations about wants and fears.
- Building shared agreements for reconnection at home.
You'll be given tools to reconnect
You'll leave with: Greater emotional understanding, tools for talking about intimacy, and a plan for rebuilding closeness. Many couples leave feeling more connected, more wanted and more hopeful about their relationship. You'll understand what has been blocking emotional intimacy and know practical ways to keep reconnecting at home.
Best for: Couples ready to address disconnection in a focused single day. It's a strong fit if you feel like roommates, if conversations about sex keep ending in hurt or avoidance, or if weekly therapy hasn't helped you feel close again. Couples looking for a marriage intensive in Salt Lake City often choose this length when they want real progress in one day.
My Approach for Rebuilding Intimacy
I am so happy to work with you! Your relationship is important to you - otherwise you wouldn't be here. Your relationship has been missing its spark for a while and yet you still care so much about your partner. You can now experience the closeness you have been missing! I am a newcomer to your relationship, so every intensive starts with careful preparation: a couples consultation, individual meetings with each partner, and questionnaires, so our time together goes to what matters most. I am a newcomer to your relationship, so this preparation helps me understand the history of your relationship and any intimacy issues before the intensive begins. It also means you can start the work right away, without spending hours on background.
We will go at your pace. Together we work on understanding what has created distance, talking openly about desire, needs, and boundaries, repairing the hurts that block closeness, and rebuilding affection, touch, and emotional safety at a pace that feels safe for both of you.
