Communication Improvement Intensive in Salt Lake City, UT

Three-Day Intensive

Three-Day Communication Improvement Intensive

15 hours total | $5,500 per couple

You're tired of fighting and ready for real change.

Understand each other. Repair the past. Build a new pattern.

A couple during a three-day communication improvement intensive session

When conflict has worn a relationship down over years, a few weekly sessions may not be enough to turn things around. The three-day intensive offers sustained, focused time to work through the issues that keep you disconnected.

Through guided conversations, skill practice, and repair work, you will have room to address what is difficult to cover in a 50-minute session.

What we'll work on:

  • Mapping the Cycle: understand how your conflict starts, escalates, and ends.
  • Getting Beneath the Argument: explore the needs, fears, and history underneath recurring fights.
  • Repairing Past Hurts: work through injuries that still shape how you talk to each other.
  • Building Core Skills: practice listening, validation, and speaking without blame.
  • Navigating Hot Topics: use structured dialogue on money, parenting, family, or other sticking points.
  • Planning Forward: create agreements and a roadmap for maintaining change at home.

You'll build communication habits that last

You'll leave with: Practiced communication skills, repair on key past hurts, shared agreements, and a structured plan for continued growth.

Best for: Couples facing entrenched conflict who want intensive, sustained help changing how they communicate.

My Approach for Improving Communication

I am excited to work with you! I am a big believer in change, especially in relationships.  Your relationship isn't perfect and that's OK!   There can be some beauty in that.  I love helping you implement new skills and tactics to bring the spark back and see your partner in a new light.  I am a newcomer to your relationship, so every intensive starts with careful preparation: a couples consultation, individual meetings with each partner, and questionnaires, so our time together goes to what matters most.

We will go at your pace. Using Gottman-informed couples therapy methods, we slow down your conflict cycle, practice listening so each partner feels heard, and learn how to repair after hard conversations. You'll leave with practical tools and a plan for the weeks ahead.
